Time to Blog

When I first started out with the idea of having a blog I was hopeful to be able to have a blog entry every day. Well so far two months in and only a handful of entries. Now with starting to work fulltime I again wondered at the wisdom of having a blog.

But then something happened. Its called "Reception Relief". For two days a week I must sit and look pretty at our reception desk on lunch breaks and banking errands. Great I thought, what am I going to do while sitting out there. Inspiration struck and here I am relieving reception but looking busy whilst typing my blog.

Its only for 2 days a week which I am glad about. Kind of messes up your day. That being said, I've had a fairly slack day today so trying to find something to do has been a challenge.

On another note we've finally got the keys to our new house. WOOHOO. Now the fun part starts .... painting.

We've successfully painted two rooms over the weekend but still have another 8 rooms and hallway to paint before the week is out. I see some very very long days in my future. Not to mention the need to still pack up the rental and arrange for carpets to be cleaned etc. Fun Fun fun.

Another new phase is starting in our lives. Hopefully things will get back on track and I'll find the enthusiasm I once had for writing to hit me between the eyes.
